You can delete your account yourself at any time. Here is exactly what happens when you do.
Quick note on where your data lives: Your conversations, code, and files live on your own cloud box, not on Wetlether's servers. Deleting your account removes your account record from our systems. Your box runs in your own cloud account, so its contents stay there until you delete the box yourself — cancelling your subscription does not remove it, and your cloud provider keeps billing for the box until you tear it down.
Deleting is self-service and takes effect straight away.
Sign in to your Wetlether account and choose Delete account. You can do this from the app or right here on the web. It asks you to confirm, then does it — there is no email to send and nothing to wait for.
Your box lives in your own cloud account, so deleting your Wetlether account cannot remove it. Delete the project you made for Wetlether in the cloud account where you set it up — the confirmation screen tells you how. Until you do, your cloud provider keeps billing you for it.
When your account is deleted, the following are removed from Wetlether's systems:
This cannot be undone, and your access to the Wetlether app ends right away. We keep backup copies of account and billing records so a server problem can't wipe out accounts, so a deleted record can still sit in a backup copy until that copy is replaced by a newer one. Stripe and the app stores keep their own payment records under their own policies.
If you have a paid subscription, deleting your account does not stop the billing — that is handled by Apple or by your card provider. Cancel it there as well, or you may be charged again.
